Statewide oversight, resources and training for Safe Kids Coalitons. 
The Safe Kids Georgia Board of Directors is made up of a diverse group of over 22 members from the corporate and philanthropic community.
Blanketing 24 counties in the State of Georgia, each coalition provides education and equipment for their respective communities.
Safe Kids State Office Staff
Beverly Losman, Director of Safe Kids Georgia, has over 20 years of non profit management experience which she likes to say is pretty good for only being 29! Currently she is serving in the capacity of Director of Safe Kids Georgia and Manager of Child Health Promotion for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her position is to enhance the business acumen of 22 coalitions throughout Georgia who provide education and advocacy on injury prevention the number one killer of ages 14 and under.
Previously, she served at the Starlight Children’s Foundation as the Executive Director of the Atlanta chapter; the Director of the Marriott Foundation for People with Disabilities. Prior to that she was the Executive Director of the Cultural Affairs Department for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce for over seven years and developed the Metro Atlanta Arts Fund, a three million dollar grant organization that provided stabilization grants to arts organizations. Beverly is a uniquely qualified professional with extensive experience in fund-raising, public relations, marketing, strategic planning and community development.
